Emmi & Hayden's Happy 1st Birthday

Emmi and Hayden turned one!! It was such a great party and we thank everyone for coming out and braving the rain. It turned out so nice and thank you for all the gifts and support. I can't believe that my baby girl is so big now and becoming a little stinker just like her father. She didn't learn anything bad from me!!

Vroom Vroom Baby!!!!

Bennie and I took Emmi to HEB today and he found a fancy cart with the steering wheel for Emmi to sit in. Emmi was such a natural and Daddy couldn't be prouder. She knew exactly how to work the buggy. The best part is that she already knew how to make the sound effects. So Bennie pushed her through the store with her going vrooooommmmm and steering like crazy. It was so cute and Daddy is proud he has his future NASCAR driver!!

Once you get into the park you keep driving past all the baseball/soccer fields until you see the lake and the very large pavillion. You cant miss it!! Some Bunny loves me!!!

We took Emmi to go see the Easter Bunny today for the first time. As we waited in line for thirty minutes we heard many screams and squeals from the children, not of happiness but of pure fear. Then Emmi approached the Easter Bunny. Emmi loved the Easter Bunny and made an instant connection with the animal. We took Emmi away and she was sad. She wanted to bond longer with him, but the photographer screaming "get your child" blew that clean out of the water. So we got our second picture of Emmi smiling!!! Will we have just as good luck next year...... or will she succomb to the screaming like the other children??

Pooor Emmi

Well Emmi went to the Dr. today..... again. She also went Friday and Saturday. AT least when we went today it confirmed that I'm not as much of a overreactive mother as people might have thought. Today the Dr. checked her out and she has a UTI and had to get a shot. She also has to get a shot tomorrow and one possibly on Wednesday, depending on if her fever goes away. Pray that she gets well soon, although if you saw her you wouldnt even know she was sick!!! What a trooper!!! She is such a sweetheart:)

Emmi Swinging

We took Emmi to Burrough's Park last weekend and she got in the swing for the first time. She didn't like it at first, but after she got the hang of it she had a great time! We also looked at the pavillion to rent out for her first birthday. AS you all know this first year flew by and Hayden and Emmi will be turning one on March 30th. So we are celebrating Sunday March 30th at Burroughs Park. We will send out invitations next week, but it will be the birthday event to be at this year!!! We were going to get a pony but they will not allow it on park grounds. Maybe next year........

Emmi's First trip to the Zoo

Bennie and I took Emmi to the zoo for the first time on March 1st. Nana, my mom, Michelle and Hayden came with us. We had such a great time and the babies had a blast. Bennie's back hurt a bit from carrying them around, but all in all it was such a beautiful day!!! Emmi was worn out by the time we left, but I think her favorite part was the seals. Hayden fell asleep before the petting zoo and slept a majority of the time, but he soaked in some rays while doing so!!
